Villagers - Nothing Arrived

Villagers are an Mercury Music Prize nominated folk-rock outfit from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland. The band fronted by singer and songwriter Conor J. O’Brien [vocals/guitar] is composed of Tommy McLaughlin [guitar], James Byrne [guitar], Danny Snow [bass] and Cormac Curran [keyboards]. Nothing Arrived is the second single taken from their upcoming sophomore album. It is entitled {Awayland} and will be released on January 14, 2013 via Domino Recording Co. All songs were recorded and produced at Attica Audio (Donegal) by Conor J. O’Brien and guitarist Tommy McLaughlin. The official video for the new single Nothing Arrived {a day in the life of Terrence Bliss} is written and directed by Alden Volney.
