Scott Walker - Bish Bosch (Album Trailer)

Scott Walker, one of music's most reclusive characters, has released a preview of his upcoming album, Bish Bosch, via a trailer on his website. Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the avant garde four-minute trailer shows fly-on-the-wall studio footage of Walker and his co-producer Peter Walsh, along with other musicians who have helped shape the album.

The clip provides a taste of what to expect from Bish Bosch, which is scheduled for release in December. It's a rather unsettling listen – sounds have been created by, among other things, samurai swords and falling marbles. The track titles – See You Don't Bump His Head, Tar, Dimple, Corps De Blah, Phrasing and Epizootics! – don't exactly suggest easy listening either.

It has been six years since the release of the musician's critically acclaimed 2006 album The Drift. He has kept himself busy, though, writing a score for the ROH2's production of Duet for One Voice Ballet, as well as collaborating with artist Bat for Lashes back in 2009.
