“Bat for a Heart” is a song recorded by American singer songwriter, actress and model Ashlee Simspon. It was written by Simpson and Linda Perry and produced by Perry for Simpson’s untitled fourth studio album that’s scheduled for release next year. It hasn’t been confirmed if the track will be the first single or just a first buzz track. On October 31, it was announced on Simpson’s website that the song along with a music video would be released on November 21.
After four years of silence, this will be the fourth album from the singer after his previous releases: “Autobiography” (2004), “I Am Me” (2005) and “Bittersweet World” (2008). It will be released in mid-2013.
